Introduction

We have been mindful our Social Value obligations since we were founded in 2019. Based in the south-west regional city of Exeter, we provide well paid, skilled employment both directly and through our supply chain.

Our Commitment to Social Value

We support the wellbeing and development of our staff. Every staff member are encouraged to work within their allocated working hours. This is measured through time booking software which is monitored monthly. Staff are not permitted to access work email on personal electronic devices outside of work hours and through doing this we endeavour to allow people to disengage from work outside of working hours.Staff are encouraged to maintain a healthy lifestyle with membership of Vitality Health provided and wellness sessions within the workplace which include Yoga, Pilates, Wellness Walks and Creative Workshops.

Staff are encouraged to walk, run or cycle to work wherever possible with secure cycle storage and showers available for staff within the workplace.
We support the development of all staff through a process of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This CPD follows that mandated by the RICS with a minimum of 20 hours of relevant CPD recorded each year. Staff and contractors both receive and provide learning internally and externally. All training is recorded on a central register which is regularly monitored.

As a business regulated by the RICS we are always pleased to encourage staff to progress to professional membership.

Armed Forces Covenant

We uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant meaning no member of the Armed Forces Community will face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services and in some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved. We recognise the value that serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business and to our country. We seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by promoting the fact that we are an Armed Forces-friendly organisation, to our staff, customers, suppliers, contractors and wider public.

Evaluation and Improvement

We regularly assess the impact of our programs and seek feedback from participants.
